A fishing spot is any place you can use your Fishing skill to catch fish or other water animals.

Fishing spots are sometimes marked on the overhead map with a fish in a circle.

Locations

This is a list of fishing spots by location, either city or region.

Tutorial Island

This is a list of locations by the type of fish you will find in each one.

You shouldn't say location by fish you should have location by spots.
Like net fishing, lure, lobster pot, harpoon…

Do fishing spots only produce one kind of fish?

Nope, you can get many fishes from net fishing.
But some types, can just catch one type fish, like lobster cathing…
